Confluence Right Click Event

rl_24 October 4, 2018

Hi all,

I'm entirely new to the Confluence/JIRA software, but I have been assigned a task to write a plugin for Confluence. I have a basic understanding of how Confluence works (still learning though), and I was wondering if someone could help me.

I'm trying to listen for when a user right clicks an item on their page (given the tag of the element), but so far have been unsuccessful. I don't usually ask so soon in my attempts, but I'm on a fairly tight timeline.

Is there a way I can have a plugin run JavaScript on all pages the user accesses without having the user have to create a macro on each page? Figured this would be the easiest way to listen for right clicking (unless there's an event for that).

Not sure if I've explained what I'm trying to do enough, so please let me know if I need to clarify.

Thanks.
