I accidentally clicked the "Buy Now" button for Confluence Questions in the admin interface. It crashed Confluence, I restarted the server, now Confluence is dead.

I'm just going to reinstall so this isn't really a question, just reporting it.

You should be able to do a restore of your confluence instance. When you did the upgrde or update there should have been a backup.zip file created that you can restore to. You shouldn't have to do a re-install.
