Confluence Page-Sharing

Is there a difference between sharing a page or setting the permission of this page to a person to read?

Does the Sharing of a Page implicate the permission to read for this person or is it just something like a reminder or a "Hey look my Page"-Message?

Hi Kai,

sharing a page is just a reminder. The person gets a link to the page, not the permission to see it.
