I have been trying to figure out how to do this, but have not yet had luck. Right now, when we export a confluence page to a PDF the file name is a series of letters and numbers. I would like for the file to adopt the title of the page as it's name. Additionally, I would also prefer that the PDF export in landscape rather than portrait. Please note, I am on the cloud version.
I'm hoping someone awesome can help me with this
Sadly, there isn't a way, natively, to modify exported PDF filenames. There is a plugin called Scroll PDF Exporter that would allow you to accomplish this, but it doesn't look like it's available for Cloud instances. :/
That said! A long while back they did address this, and changed the functionality to export more "readable" filenames. The filenames should be in this format now: SPACEKEY-PAGE TITLE-ddMMMyy-hhmma-UNIQ.pdf
I will say that the only time I've encountered what you're seeing, (the filenames containing pretty much all numbers), was when a page/Space title had special characters in it, (e.g., This, is a Great Page!!, versus This is a great Page).
So check out the pages that you're seeing this on, and see if the titles contain special characters. If they do, remove them, and see if the filename is more to your liking.
