Confluence Migration: Cloud to Server

Jack Q W Cantwell August 5, 2015

We have two teams that are integrating, each of which has Confluence. However, one has Confluence Server and the other is using Confluence Cloud. It's possible that the policies of the team using Server will dictate that they cannot use Cloud.

Can you migrate data from a Cloud instance into an existing Server instance?

Thanks,

Jack

As far as I know, LDAP can only be used for server, so any policies will not affect cloud, furthermore, if just local users and groups is used, the two use separate servers so again, no effect of one over the other.

As far as migrating from cloud to server, this is possible, both moving the entire site or space-by-space. Best to have the server at the latest version though.
