We have Confluence and JIRA linked and both require users to use their AD credentials - ie use the same username and password for both applications. When first logged in for the day or a session has timed-out, from Confluence, one has to log into JIRA to see the JIRA issues on the Confluence page.
Since the 2 applications are linked and are using the same AD credentials - why doesn't the credentials carried from one app to the other without a log in. If a user is logged into one app, why cant they go to the other app without logging in again?
Hello Annong,
We have a page detailing a few options about how to achieve that on JIRA and Confluence:

A good option for SSO between both applications could be the Crowd SSO: https://www.atlassian.com/software/crowd/overview
