Confluence - Feedback capture

rohit patel January 7, 2018

Hello Team,

We are creating a series of pages on Confluence and we would like to have a feedback section added somewhere on each page. So that our internal staff can go there and provide us with a feedback. I would like to include the following for this feedback:

Categorise feedback by type

Initiate from any page (must be able to send page link, date, and user name)

Notification to be sent once a feedback is sent and resolved. (to both admin and the requestor.

Any help and guidance will be highly appriciated.

Cheers,

Ro!

Hi Ro,

It sounds like the built in feature, Comments, will work. The only part that I am not sure about is categorizing the comments by type. Perhaps this could be done by agreeing to preface each comment with some content that will categorize it?

Please see: Introducing a new feedback loop in Confluence 5.7 and Comment on pages and blog posts:

When you make a comment you are added to the page as a watcher so you see new comments and know when comments are resolved. The page link, date and user name will be on the email notifications.

Regards,

Ann
