Confluence Data Center - add User Macro takes hours to show up on other nodes

Leann Adams June 30, 2017

Configuration: Confluence Data Center, 2 nodes in cluster

Confluence administrator added a User Macro on node 1 and it took several hours for it to show up on node 2.  Trying to understand why it took so long for it to show up on node 2.

Where is User Macro data stored (cache, database, both)?  Do users need to clear all browser session/cookies and relogin to the application in order to see the macro on the other nodes in the cluster?

Hi @Leann Adams ,

macro info are stored at database level. Btw, there is a cache sync over different nodes. Try to verify if nodes communicate correctly.
