Confluence 6.13.0 - Export to PDF Macro Rendering Issue

Patrick Chen January 14, 2019

Hi folks,

We're testing an upgrade to Confluence 6.13.0 from 5.10.1

After completing the upgrade, there seems to be an issue with the (recently updated?) 'Export to PDF' Functionality that is not properly rendering some of the basic bundled Macros such as 'Page Tree' and 'Info'. This happens on pre-existing pages and on newly created pages post-upgrade.

There are no Global, Space, or PDF modifications to Stylesheets.

Screenshot example: On the left is the Confluence page with an 'Info' Macro, and on the right is the exported PDF with the 'Info' Macro content rendered incorrectly. These macros rendered correctly back in 5.10.1 and on a separate 6.6.1 instance that we are running. Export PDF Macro Render Issue.png

I tried exporting a page with a 'Page Tree' Macro and the Macro failed to render altogether,

Any guidance is appreciated, thank you.

Hello there!

Patrick, this behaviour is present in some versions of Confluence. This is being tracked under the following report:

Pagetree doesn't render in pdf export
