Confluence 4.3.7 drag and drop not working properly

stuartu February 14, 2013

I'm running Firefox 18.0.2 on Linux Mint 12.04 and are trying to drag/drop an image into a new Confluence page (we are running 4.3.7).

The image displays in the page, but I can not edit any properties (i.e. size, border, link, effects). If I try and preview, the image disappears, and is gone when I click the Edit or Save.

It works via Insert, Image, browsing to the picture.

Not sure why the drag and drop functionality doesn't work. I've tried with various types of files.

Is this broken for other people?

Hi there,

Just try to replicate the issue on my end without any issue. First and foremost, we need to confirm whether this is a browser issue or server side issue. Could you please try to replicate the issue using Chrome and see how it goes.

If Chrome also failed, you might want to double check if the feature is disabled or not.

Hope it helps.

Thanks Septa,

The drag and drop plugin was disabled. It works perfect now that I've enabled it.

I'm obviously going to have to add that check to my upgrade notes.

Stuart.
