Confluence 3.2 - The root page @home could not be found (after renaming)

Martin September 19, 2012

Hi,

I am a absolute newbie to Confluence and I must maintain our Wiki. Yesterday i renamed the homepage of a subspace from "Home" to another name. The page tree now has the right name. If i browse downward the tree, in one page the navigation disappears, the page is shown with red-colored font and the message "The root page @home could not be found in space ...

What must i do to avoid this behaviour?

Thanks

Martin

Go to space admin-> space details for this space (http://your-confluence-site/confluence/spaces/editspace.action?key=<yourspacekey>) and change the homepage in the drop-down box to the page name you change to.

To avoid it you could either create and new page and then use the space admin to point to the new page or copy the content from another page to the homepage.

Hi Martin,

Can you confirm you reindexed Confluence after renaming the changes?
