Community bubbles -> Forum

Is there any way to transfer the pre-written pages from the forum & add topic macros with community bubbles in confluence 4 to the community forum add on (or another add-on) in confluence 5, without having to we-write all the pages.

Thank you,

Hi Paul,

I've checked with our support team who have informed me that you can simply update to Confluence 5 and install Forums which will pick up the existing data, if it does not it is advised to perform a rebuild. If you encounter any issues with moving from Bubbles to Forums please contact our support using our contact form.

Additionally, we have recently released Forums 2.0 for Confluence 5.3-5.6 which provides a host of new and improved features. We're currently developing a migration task to assist in moving existing forums to the new 2.0 architecture, however if you'd like to upgrade to 2.0 before this migration task is available, please install 2.0 and follow this guide.

You are welcome to use the older forum macros which we are continuing to support for the time being.

Kind Regards,
