I just purchased and installed this plugin. When I try to enable it I get the following message. I looked in the Confluence log files but didn't see any error message. The audit log just says "Failed to enable add-on Community Forums Plugin (com.adaptavist.confluence.forums)". Any idea what is causing this?image2015-5-14 16:44:59.png

Can you please ensure the Confluence and Community Forums are compatible with each other. If yes, can you please try performing the steps below.
1. Uninstall any existing version of the plugins.
2. Shut down the Confluence application.
3. Clear plugins cache.Here you can find the instructions, how to do this: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFKB/How+to+Clear+Confluence+Plugins+Cache
4. Start the application.
5. Please install only the compatible versions of Community Forums.
6. Perform a rebuild from the Confluence Administration menu. More info about this here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Content+Index+Administration

There will be an error or warning in the logs at around the time the plugin fails to load, but the logs tend to be long and dense, and I often miss stuff in them. Could you check again?
My usual trick is to have a terminal open in one window with "tail -f atlassian-confluence.log" running, then click the "enable" button and watch the logs roll past.
If it's not throwing errors into the log file, then I'm afraid it's working. A plugin cannot get to "failed to enable" on the front end without logging the reason why, unless you've turned off all the logging, or your disk is full and it cannot write to the log.
