Combining Structured Data and Documentation in a Confluence Page

Hugh Ferguson April 5, 2016

I would like to set up pages that conform to a fixed format, that allow me to enter free text in some areas, and data in other areas, so that the data can be extracted from the Confluence DB, or perhaps through the API, or perhaps using the CLI.

Neither the templates nor the forms seem quite appropriate. I think I'm looking for a combination of both. The purpose is to have pages that contain structured data, but are also documents.

Can you suggest the best approach?

Thanks

Hugh,

Not sure this is what you are looking for, but the tools from K15t offer structure to Conflience pages as described in this blog post: https://www.k15t.com/blog/2014/07/structured-authoring-for-confluence

Good luck.
