Clean reinstallation of Confluence (SEN-12120394)

Good afternoon, Colleagues.

We have an staging Confluence environment.
Our security team asked me to update it to the latest version or remove it.
I am trying to update but got some errors-DB is not acceptable.
We don't have any data on this Instance. Can I try to completely remove the old version and install the new one again using the same license? How about LTS version & can i'll upgrade to this later?

Hi Mikhail,

You can check the confluence upgrade notes to see what the upgrade path is you should use.

To reuse the license, a license is alway bound to a Server ID, so you need to have the same server ID.
