Claim accounts as part of a domain verification required?

Hi,

Im in the process of setting up confluence cloud for a few members of our organization and hopefully SSO with it.

However, when I try to do this, I'm stuck at verifying domain. It says that there are 200 accounts and everyone will be notified. is there no way to verify the domain for SSO without spamming the entire organization? or is there a way to only notify the group of people that have this confluence access?

Do, there's no way to do this.

Remember that when you claim a domain, you are effectively taking people's accounts away from them.  It's at the very least, polite to formally tell them that you're taking ownership of something that was previously theirs.

is there no way to claim only certain users? i understand that we're claiming the whole domain but not for everyone. i know that doesnt make sense but we are only after a handful of people
