Checkbox shortcode [] doesnt work anymore? Edited

Hello out there,

im wondering about the checkbox shortcode [].

After a few months i have to work with confluence again. I'm pretty sure, i was able to create a simple Checkbox by typing [] . But if i type the "[", a link macro starts. If i write the second character "]", it's just "normal" text. The Icon at the top where you can add the checkbox by clicking, tells me in the Hint that i can just write [] as im used too.

I searched a few min by google now to find an answer. But i had no success.

We've got a little Problem with the Chrome Browser. After using Firefox, everything is normal. I killed the cache in Chrome and now it works as expected....
