Character Encoding in Blueprints

Tom July 6, 2014

Hello there

I am creating a Blueprint in French and need some french characters for the whole thing.

For example I have set in the pom File

<name>Directive de travail</name>
	<description>Créer une directive de travail</description>
	<packaging>atlassian-plugin</packaging>

On the running System it looks like this.

The pom.xml is in

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

I have the same Problem with my .soy File, which takes the Text from the .properties File:

my.blueprint.letsgetstarted.content=Créer une nouvelle directive de travail
my.blueprint.form.label.title.vStatusText1=Projet
my.blueprint.form.label.title.vStatusText2=Révision processus
my.blueprint.form.label.title.vStatusText3=Révision COM

Is there a way to set the encoding right?

Regards T

Salut Tom, until Confluence 5.1 Confluence Blueprints would not work in languages other than English, as outlined in this KB article. Since 5.1.3 this has been addressed, we have provided compatibility with French, German, Japanese and Spanish.

Hope this helps, in case you have further queries, you may like to post to the improvement ticket in jira.atlassian.com.

Hope this helps!
