Tring to change the home page for a space to a newly created page. When I make the change the Children Pages do not show up

I've just tried the same (Confluence 5.4 Beta) and it works for me:

  • I went to any page in my space, titled "A Note...",
  • Created a child page,
  • I went to the Space Overview (in space tools) and set "A Note..." as the home.
  • I clicked on the space logo (in the sidebar) to come back to the home,
  • The page "A Note..." displays and I can see its child in the sidebar.

Which version of Confluence are you using? Where do you expect to see the children? Do you have children for this page?

Hi Adrian, thanks for the reply.. we are on Confluence 5.1.3.. We are using the Document foramt. I was expecting the pages to show at the bottom of the page.. or to the left. On the existing home page that is where the child pages show up. I will try what you did too
