In it's current form the Confluence calendar widget does not conform to standard way most people expect to see the days of the week with Sunday being leftmost and Saturday on the right.
Is it possible to change the standard layout of the Confluence calendar to show Sunday as the 1st day of the week instead of the last day?
Thanks!
Louis,
Whether you see Sunday as the first day of the week or the last day of the week depends on what language region you have Confluence set to.
According to international standard ISO 8601, Sunday is the final day of the week. For example, you would see this configuration if you were to choose UK English as your language.
Several countries, including the United States, Canada, and Australia, reject the international standard, and consider Sunday to be the first day of the week. Therefore, if you were to set your language to US English, you would see Sunday as the first day of the week.
Could you please confirm what language you have Confluence set to? If it is set to UK English, could you try to switch to US English and confirm if you see Sunday as the first day of the week?
This affects the calendar shortcut (i.e. //) and I believe it is the feature you are referring to.
Regards,
Shannon
