Hi,
When I open Jira in Edge, I am not able to make any comment. However, this issue does not exist in Firefox.
I tried to clean the history and cookies and restart, but didnt help.
any ideas?
Hi @Hojat Khosrowjerdi welcome to the community! I'm also using Jira in the cloud and I'm able to add comments today without issues. Some troubleshooting steps would be to make sure you're on the latest version of Edge, and you have all the Windows updates in place. Maybe if your windows version isn't the latest (22H2) there could be an issue. Also, is it just your user that's having issues? Can other people add comments with Edge? Have you tried a different PC to see if it's the same issue? Has your PC been rebooted in awhile?
Can someone else use Edge on your machine and login to Jira? Does it work for them?
Narrowing down the conditions might help hone in on where the issue lies.
Hope that helps.
Hi @Dan Breyen , thanks for your comment!
It is very difficult for me to understand the root cause, but I see that the windows is lately updated, the Edge is also updated. This issue was not present before and suddenly appeard only for me.
Since Edge is controlled by organization, I cannot uninstall it.
Is there any magic option that can fix this problem?
BTW, this problem exist also in Chrome, but not in Firefox.
Anything in common between Chrome and Edge?

My experience is similar. The workaround for me is to refresh the page (F5) immediately before initiating COMMENT. I've had the same issue regarding the COMMENT subfunction within changing STATUS of an artifact. Same workaround--i.e., before initiating the change-state function which requires the comment, refresh the page (F5).
What a nuisance. I have the latest EDGE and my organization keeps my Windows 10 extremely current. Yes, I think something changed with EDGE when we weren't looking.
