Cannot insert Gliffy at bottom of Confluence 5.3 page

Rosalind October 29, 2013

We are testing Confluence 5.3 on our Development server. We cannot insert gliffy diagrams at the bottom of a Confluence 5.3 page. The Insert Gliffy option (following Save and Exit in Gliffy plug-in) works fine if the cursor is at the top of a Confluence page, or in a table, but not when the cursor is at the bottom of a page, following other content. Is there a fix for this?

Hi Rosalind,

If you can send an email to support@gliffy.com and record a screencast of what is happening that would help us troubleshoot. Thanks!

Hi Rosalind,

I just tested this locally and didn't have any issues inserting a gliffy diagram after a bunch of text on a Confluence 5.3 page. The gliffy diagram was inserted at the bottom of the edit window below a couple paragraphs of dummy text.

Can you open up the developer console and choose the network tab, then try to insert the gliffy diagram and see if there are any errors shown? Are there any confluence errors reported in the logs?
