Cannot Access or SetUp Confluence OnDemand

Jason Evans January 8, 2013

Having trouble setting up Confluence ondemand instance. I'm paying for the service, trying to log in as administrator, and I'm getting this message: Your account is not yet available in this OnDemand instance. When i try to log in as a 'user' that is working on Jira instance I get a message that I'm not authorized to use Confluence.

What am I missing here?

Thanks,

Jason Evans

Hi Jason,

I suspect that the instance is still spinning up when you were getting the message that the application wasn't available and I suspect that the message regarding not being authorised suggests that you don't have application access from Confluence configured yet, so please check this by following the instructions in this document: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Managing+application+access

If this doesn't resolve your issue and you still can't access the application then please open a ticket with Support under the OnDemand project so one of our AOD engineers can investigate and ensure that the application has spun up correctly and you have all the appropriate access permissions.

All the best,
John

Check your OnDemand account carefully to ensure you're looking at the right one, and it has confluence added to it (Seems obvious, but I've had two people recently looking at completely the wrong accounts).

Then contact Atlassian support if it's not enabled.
