We have created a template that is for a spesific product, and we would like that this template are created at the correct subpath. So that either you can do the following;
Does anyone know if this is possible?
Confluence won't support that because templates can't set the title of the page (it's also nonsense, because you can only do it once in any space and the whole point of a wiki is to enable people to create many different pages)
You could do it in a Blueprint though - that lets you define a whole set of predetermined pages in any way you like.
I don't know a way to restrict the creation of a template via the create button, but we use a link to help users to create a new page as a subpage of a defined one - whereever you add the link, be it the homepage of a space or any other page, by clicking on it you'll add the new page with the reuired template as a subpage of a definded parent page.
Link looks like this:
(Find out the right values in the <brackets> by creating a new page starting at the required motherpage and using your template. Then add this link to any page.)
