Can you have 2 instances of Confluence connected to a single JIRA instance?

Robin Geary January 28, 2020

We are using JIRA cloud which is currently integrated with System Confluence.

As we are different software project, so we have a server version of confluence we would also like to integrate with JIRA cloud.

The project application links exist in our space on the Confluence server.

The application link to the Confluence server exists in JIRA Cloud.

When attempting to create a page via JIRA it will only allow links to the System Confluence instance.

Is this behaviour related to the System Confluence being marked as primary and is there anything I can do about this?

Yes, you can have two instance of confluence linked to single Jira instance, the outgoing request goes through application that is marked as Primary

Thanks,

Radhika

Thanks for the response. I have marked the confluence server as primary but now they both are primary and it still does not function.
