Can you add Page Layouts to Confluence OnDemand?

Cris Dow July 8, 2013

I'm wondering if there's a way to create / add a new page layout with Confluence OnDemand?

I'd like to have a "Stacked" Two column layout.

Thanks.

And linked this Answers post to it ( counts as a vote )

While you can't add new page lauouts they are simply predefined sections and columns. Hence you utilize that specific page layout and add column macros to achieve the desired result. See this doc for further information.

Do you forsee the ability to add new page layouts?

The auto-generated e-mails that are sent out, when someone edits the page, show the section and column markup. It looks kind of clunky.
