We are in the process of merging multiple Confluence Data Center instances to a single instance. We are running up against the expiration of one of the licenses. My understanding is that when the license expires, the Confluence Data Center instance becomes read-only. My question is: can we still export/backup spaces while it is read-only?
@Jon Southwood I would suggest submitting a support issue to Atlassian. My guess is that admin functionality to manage the instance would still work but I am not for sure on that. Atlassian support would be able to answer this. If it does lock you out of admin functionality like export I would suggest explaining your situation and timeline and maybe they could help you out with a trial license or such to get you through your merger. https://support.atlassian.com/contact/
