Can users be notified of new Confluence tasks via HipChat?

Is there a way to assign a user a task on a Confluence page & have them automatically notified of that assignment via HipChat? Thanks!

Based on all that i have read about integrations the answer is No. But i'd love to know the answer from somebody with access to the HipChat integrations development roadmap.
