Can´t embed eazyBI report or dashboard on a Confluence page

Ricardo Augusto Pereira de Matos September 27, 2024

Hello, everyone.

I´m having troubles trying to embed eazyBI reports or dashboards on a confluence page,
I´m having this error shown in the image below:

eazyBI connection error.PNG

Seems that Confluence can´t even begin to connect to eazyBI. I´ve searched for any component installed on Confluence and found this one. It may be something about the app key, I´m not sure.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Hi @Ricardo Augusto Pereira de Matos

The "eazyBI for Jira in Confluence Cloud" app has been discontinued and has not been available for four years. We gave our existing users a full-year grace period before discontinuing the app on October 31, 2020.

Currently, there are two supported ways how to publish eazyBI Jira reports on Confluence pages in the Cloud:

  1. There is a new app available in the Atlassian marketplace - "eazyBI reports and charts for Confluence" (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1219504/eazybi-reports-and-charts-for-confluence).
This is a paid app for Confluence that allows you both to get insight into Confluence usage as well as publishing "eazyBI for Jira" reports on Confluence pages.
Here are more details on how to publish reports and dashboards with new "eazyBI reports and charts for Confluence" macros:
    https://docs.eazybi.com/eazybi/publish-reports/publish-in-confluence-pages
  2. Or you may use the iframe with a public access token for publishing the report. It is part of "eazyBI for Jira" functionality, and no need to buy another app. https://docs.eazybi.com/eazybi/publish-reports/use-public-access-token (Note that iframe could be used in any web page that has the option to publish HTML.)

Best,
Zane / support@eazyBI.com

Hi @Ricardo Augusto Pereira de Matos , thanks for your question.

Please open a ticket to the vendor here, https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1219504/eazybi-reports-and-charts-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=support , who should be able to help you get this working.

Cheers
