Can't add changeset review coverage gadget

Paul Kirby June 26, 2013

When I attempt to add the changeset review coverage gadget into a confluence page, all appears to work well (I can configure the plugin, and in the preview it will show me the review coverage properly). However, when I press insert, I then get this:

Notice that the save button is greyed out. In addition, if I try to click cancel or preview, nothing happens. The only way out of this page is to navigate away at this point. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Hi Paul,

After doing some research, and trying to replicate this problem, I believe I came across a bug on Crucible side. When I try to use the following URL http://HOSTNAME:8060/rest/gadgets/1.0/g/com.atlassian.fisheye.review-coverage-report/gadgets/recent-changesets.xml to create a gadget for Confluence, I received this message:
"Resource not found".

I believe that's why Confluence isn't rendering/working the gadget, because the .xml that leads to it, its broke. However I was able to find a bug already open for this case on Crucible side:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CRUC-6186

I would strongly suggest that you vote on this issue to increase its popularity and add it to your watchlist for future updates.

Cheers,

WZ

Hi William,

Had a look at the bug you mentioned. The only thing is that in my Confluence instance, the gadget URL is specified as: http://HOSTNAME:8081/rest/gadgets/1.0/g/com.atlassian.crucible.plugins.review-coverage-report:recent-changesets/gadget/recent-changesets.xml (we run on a custom port for what it's worth). I can access that particular URL just fine and it seems to return valid XML.
