Can people who don't have a Confluence account view spaces and/or pages?

Ian Lundy September 20, 2016

I want to share a space with my entire company. Many employees don't have access to Confluence. Is it possible for them to view content?

Yes, allow anonymous access to the relevant space.

Hi,

Just to add to Noam's answer: you also have to make sure you give anonymous users access to the instance first before you give them access to the space.

You can check this by going to the admin area under Users & Security -> Global permissions

There is no way to access the content until they get access to the Space.

If one need to view content of specific space, he/she should be having access to that space and your confluence system as well.

It's same for all, but this totally depends how we set the permissions.

Permissions plays vital role here.
