Can no longer import a word document with a .png or .jpg; cannot attach a .png or .jpg

Unclear why when creating this the other discussions were not listed.

I'm trying to import a word document (because it was the only way I used to be able to successfully get graphics into Confluence). But now, even with just 3 small images (tried both .jpg and .png) the document will not import.

I remove the images and the document imports.

Add only 1 image and the document does not import.

I tried importing the page, and then using Attachments, and drag-drop the images on the page but it generates a (very colorful) http error message.

Wow David that is weird all right. I have been investigating the Word import feature lately. Questions,

• Do you know how the images were created?
• When you say "small" do you mean file size in KB, or pixel size in dimensions?
• What was the http error message you got?
• Have you tried both .doc and .docx versions of the file?
