Can multiple people edit a Confluence Page like Google Sheets?

The community provided answer is about 5 years old.  Have any progress been made past the "merge conflict" problem?

This would be very valuable as we are sharing meeting agenda during the meeting.  Would love to have the attendees input just show up on the page.

We are now doing that with Google Sheets but would like to switch to Confluence.
