Can Watchers be added to a Template?

I am creating a template. Since we cannot add a group as a watcher, can we pre add a list of users that are watchers to a template that will always be watchers on the page?

Hi there,

As of now Confluence does not have such feature available out of the box. I can understand why this could be a great addition to Confluence so I have created an improvement request for this here:
