Can I sort jira issues embedded in Confluence?

I'm on Atlassian On Demand. I used to be able to embed a filter of Jira issues in Confluence, and the table displayed could be sorted on any column.

However, now when I do this, it's a static list. Not only that, it sometimes won't even display all the issues and I have to click further to see them all.

Hi Kay, yes that is a current limitation of the new JIRA Issues macro, the improvement request is being tracked here.
