Can I delete old comments automatically after a fixed time for a whole space or page?

I have a space with several pages where pictures in comments are collected. They take a huge amount of disk storage on the server and I don't need them anymore after - let's say one year. It would be nice to have an option to get them deleted automatically when the comment is one year old. And it would be nice to have this feature working for all (future-)sub-pages.

ScriptRunner has a script specifically just for such a use case, but you need to purchase the add-on. You could try it for free as a short term solution. https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/confluence/builtin-scripts.html#_bulk_delete_comments_from_one_or_more_pages
