Can Confluence handle conditionality

Gary Niemen March 31, 2014

Is it possible to implement conditionality on a Confluence page so that when exporting to XML, PDF, HTML, or Word - one can select which version to export - one with the condition and one without.

I'm not sure, if it meets your need, but take a look on https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.k15t.scroll.scroll-pdf

Good tip Steve, thanks. It is hard to tell if it solves the exact need - but from the write-up, it seems feasible that it would. Again, thanks.

It's certainly possible to write a Macro plugin to do that. Macros know whether they're being rendered for PDF/view page etc. It's in the page context's outputType. The different types are documented at https://docs.atlassian.com/atlassian-renderer/5.0/apidocs/com/atlassian/renderer/RenderContextOutputType.html
