Can Confluence (Server) be integrated with JIRA to have a unified search in Confluence ?

We use JIRA JSD and Confluence (all are on-premise). I am trying to implement a unified search solution i.e. ability to search through all 3 products content from one search window. Results could be hyperlink to actual url within the respective application where content resides. (Like having a google search that works on top of JIRA JSD and Confluence.

It would be great if someone can give pointers if they have achieved this within confluence or through an add-on ?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Unfortunately, it's not yet possible to natively integrate those two searches, it is, however, a well sought after enhancement to Integrate Confluence search to Jira search:

CONFSERVER-2689

I suggest you vote and let your voice be heard. Comments are also very welcome.

Igor

Thanks Igor. Just voted for it!

Is there a third party plugin for this ? any pointers ?

There is Alta-Search plugin for Jira, that does a similar thing, can't find anything similar for Confluence.
