Description:
After the recent migration, we are experiencing a significant issue across all pages in Confluence. While the page titles and content are accurate, the URLs have changed, resulting in broken links that prevent users from accessing the intended pages.
Example:
Before Migration:
Title: "TIEC New joiners guide"
Content: "Steps to set up development machine in TIECC for Avant platform"
URL: https://old-confluence-url.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=123456 (Correct old URL)
After Migration:
Title: "TIEC New joiners guide"
Content: "Steps to set up development machine in TIECC for Avant platform"
URL: https://new-confluence-url.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=654321 (Correct content, but the link is broken) or TIECC New joiners guide"(when u click the link, its showing same page)
I've been off the on-premise Confluence for years but unless I'm very much mistaken, migrated content will have different page IDs compared to the original. Which is an issue if you're referencing the content from outside of Confluence.
Having said that, the links among the pages of the migrated content WILL work with new page IDs providing the content was migrated in one go.

It seems that using the 'pretty format'

prevents the post-migration link link issue.
