Bidirectional updates for issues created from confluence

ramonde zrihen April 16, 2018

Hi,
I'm looking for a solution which updates any changes made to issues created with "multi issues from Confluence table" / create issue macro:

  1. changing table value/s in Confluence automatically updates these values in related JIRA issues
  2. editing/deleting issue in JIRA automatically updates it's relevant Confluence table Column

i found "issue manger for Confluence" add on which updates these bidirectional edits but is capable of creating one issue and not multi issues from table which is nice but not that helpful for users using Confluence as their primary tool

many thanks,
Ramonde

I may be missing part of your use case, but it sounds like Confluence and Jira have the functionality you are looking for out of the box. Here is an example of a Jira issue created from a Confluence table reflecting changed status:

Hi Ann,
i'm aware of this functionality, but there are no updates for changes made  both in JIRA and confluence besides issue status.
Editing issue's description in JIRA doesn't appears in Confluence's table and vise versa
