We're running Confluence 4.2 inside of a Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V VM. We're currently using backup software that backs up our VMs to backup this VM. We have a local installation of MySQL running inside the VM that is used by Confluence. We're backing up the Confluence nightly using its built-in backup manager. We simply saves these inside of the VM and backup the VM. Is this okay? Should we be doing anything else? Thanks!
This should be ok, if both confluence and mysql are stopped before the backup starts
