Base URL does not match due to 8443 redirection

David Dellinger January 10, 2018

I recently upgraded our Confluence from 6.0.4 to 6.5.2.  It seems that during the upgrade, a redirect was introduced to port 8443, causing the URL to not match our base URL.

How do I either remove the redirection to 8443 or the need for port 8443.

Thanks,

David

An upgrade won't introduce any redirects, but it will update the config files (it should tell you which ones are going to change).  So, I'm not sure what has changed here.

Could you have a look at the differences between the new server.xml and the old one?

Nic, Thanks!  That worked.  I had first had scheduled downtime on Saturday, and when I replaced the new server.xml file with the old one, it worked great.  I originally tried just putting the old parts into the new xml file, but could not get that to work.  I had to just replace the entire new file with the original old file.  Anyway, thanks for your suggestion and help.
