Back Dating a Blog Post

We want to move older content stored in regular wiki pages into the blog structure. The interface supports the setting of an older date, but when we go to publish it, the post takes today's date. According to CONF-1711 my understanding is backdating of blog posts is supported, but I cannot seem to make this work in Confluence Cloud. Is anyone else experiencing problems back dating a blog post?

Looks like there is a known issue at the moment - CONF-40283.

Yep, I hit that problem too. I'd like to move old blogs posts so new ones make sense.

So one more vote for this fix.

Please add backdates for posts - struggling to comprehend why this feature is not present.
