Automatic JIRA ticket creation when Confluence template used

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: JIRA Issues Macro

How do I set Confluence up so that every time a particular template is used, a JIRA ticket gets created? I don't seem to find any documentation on this. JIRA and Confluence are already linked. Thanks.

There isn't a way to do this natively. You can use remote API and scripting to achieve this.
