Attachment path not updated

Sean Gorman January 23, 2014

The inital build of the Confluence Wiki was done through the UWC import from MindTouch. The web path to Confluence at that time was an IP such as 10.10.10.10:8090.

After building some in the Wiki post import and deciding to move forward with the product a DNS was put in the path in Confluence changed to for example http://internal.com. The attachments imported by UWC however are still looking for the 10.10.10.10:8090 address and will not load unless the path is changed to web.com.

Is there location I can look at (table, XML) to mass change these address of the attchments to the new Confluence location?

Hi Sean,

After you performed this move from IP to DNS name, did you changed your Base URL in Confluence?

Please go to Confluence Admin->General Configuration, and check if your "Server Base URL" is set to your new DNS url.

The server base is set to the new DNS URL. Everything that was added outside of the UWC export/Import changed with that. The imported attachments did not.
