Atlassian requires Atlassian and Partner wildcard domains to be allowlisted as suggested below
===
But we would like to prevent access to confluence using personal accounts when accessing from our network
===
Any suggestions please? I know Atlassian offers custom domains and IP allowlisting but with wildcard domains absolutely necessary I think users can still access confluence using personal accounts. could they not?
Would using SSO solve this issue?
That way, you use Okta or similar to control access to your Atlassian org.
Only accounts that you manage via SSO would be able to access.
Hi @Subodh
Confluence access is based upon permissions.
You can enable anonymous access, but this will allow anyone to access,
If you whitelist your company IP's and make Confluence anonymously accesable all company members can access, but they are anonymous
You will need to enable anonymous access on any space as well.
The IP that new to be whitelisted based on list Atlassian provided is that all users can make use of all of the functionalities if you have a firewall. This does not mean anyone can just access your instance
Partner domains need to be in place to have apps from the marketplace function properly if you add them to your instance. This does not mean anyone can just access your instance.
