Applink: Using Jira in Confluence but not vice versa

I plan to "applink" a partners JIra System to monitor the ticket progress in our Confluence system. The partner shall be not allowed to use our Confluence.

On which side do I have to configure the AppLink: in our Confluence, in their JIRA or in both systems?

HI Matthias,

I believe you need to configure the applink in both systems.  If you don't want any of the JIRA users to access Confluence, just make sure that none of them are given access to groups that have permission to view spaces in Confluence.
