Anchor Links Not Working from Different Page

For some reason, I cannot get the anchor links on a different page to go to that anchor--it just opens the entire page. What am I doing incorrectly? The link is formed like:

SpaceKey:Page Name#anchor name

Any thoughts?

Are you trying to navigate to the anchor in the different page then please try just:

page name#anchor name

If you are trying to navigate to the anchor in the page on different space then:

spacekey:page name#anchor name

Please make sure you have given correct page name and anchor names.

Make sure the anchor name has no spaces, if you are trying to link to a heading, or if your anchor name has spaces.
