Allow only specific group/user to view a space

Hello,

I follow this article "https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-grant-access-to-one-space-only-to-a-user-in-confluence-815244321.html" , to apply view permissions for a specific group only for specific  space but the group/user does not have access to the space.

Also the following steps are not available in the User management screen:

  1. From the User management go to Application access > View configuration.
  2. In the Confluence part, add your group and make sure it has the Can sign in checkbox checked.

Please guide me on how to solve this problem, thank you

Hi Ignatios,

You can grant can use access to the new group via Global Permissions:

http://CONFLUENCE-URL/admin/permissions/globalpermissions.action

Then you'll be able to proceed with the rest of the steps.

Let me know if you have any trouble.

Kind Regards,
Shannon
