Allow Jira Macro to be Used in Table of Contents

Paul Gates March 2, 2021

I'd like to be able to use the Jira macro as an item in the Table of Contents macro.

We put user requirements in Confluence, with a link back to Jira.  It would be nice to be able to use the Jira macro, which puts the title of the user story on our Wiki page, as the heading for each requirement.  You can add the Jira macro within a heading.

However, the table of contents populates before the Jira macro populates, so you get a partial heading in the table of contents like this:

JIRA-12345: Get Information Abo....  STATUS

For a Jira ticket like this:

JIRA-12345: Get Information About The Customer OPEN

Hi @Paul Gates

This is a great idea. I would post this as a feature request to see if it gains interest. Link: https://confluence.atlassian.com/support/implementation-of-new-features-policy-201294576.html
